You Don’t Deserve Her.

12 Feb

Today is the party. I’m soooo not ready.

I found out that SD was supposed to do something with her mother, her cousin and Hubby’s sister today. I guess in the end she decided she wanted to stay here. Her mom called (and she NEVER calls here) and laid a serious guilt trip on SD. Told her she shouldn’t blow her off. SD was in tears. First of all, how do you tell an 11-year old child that she’s wrong for blowing you off, when that’s what you’ve done for HER WHOLE LIFE. Even for her last birthday party, her mother was supposed to bring her sisters, THE CAKE, and snacks. She never called, just never showed up. How do you do that to your child? That is common practice. I told SD if she wanted to go with her mom (and I’m a bit disturbed that my sister-in-law –whom I’m sure hates me– is planning trips out with Hubby’s ex. and her other kids) then she should go. I’m not going to make her feel bad about what she chose to do. Kids are going to want to do whatever seems most fun…you can’t take it personally. It doesn’t mean they don’t care for you. I was very close to calling her and getting in that ass about it. I have tons of hatred really, really, strong dislike and disrespect built up that I’d like to get off my chest. After the way she has treated her child, she deserves nothing.

So anyway, I’m going to the store in about an hour. In the meantime, I’m going to clean some more. I’ll be sure to take pictures. *mwah*
